Get the care you deserve.
At Valley Spine & Sports Rehab, we promise to provide a tailored, patient-centred approach. There are so many clinics that simply follow an algorithm for treating a specific chief complaint. But when a patient first steps into the office, they, as a whole person, have to be considered. Additionally, we promise to only provide treatment backed by substantiated evidence (ie. research and trials have been tested in the sports medicine community to conclude that this is the best approach for said condition). We will do my best to accommodate the patients' needs- making them feel valued, heard and cared for.

A modern approach to chiropractic care
Hi 🙋🏼♀️, I’m Lindsay and I am the face behind Valley Spine & Sports Rehab. Valley Spine & Sports Rehab truly reflects a modernized injury recovery/rehabilitation experience. I often describe the practice as a hybrid of chiropractic, physiotherapy and athletic therapy. We truly gets down to the "bare bones" (pun intended ;) ) of treating people with specialized manual therapy (in other words, using named, evidence-based techniques that use our hands as our primary tools). As much as I feel that we can utilize all the gizmos and gadgets as an adjunct to therapy, patients truly do respond with a literal hands-on approach.
Meet Dr. Lindsay McMullen
Born and raised in Stittsville, Dr. Lindsay McMullen received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. In 2011, she graduated from University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Human Kinetics. For over ten years, Dr. McMullen is certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and Kinesio Tape (CKTP). She also utilizes instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques and exercise prescription to restore mobility and stability in her patients. Dr. McMullen is also certified in Medical Acupuncture (through McMaster University) and Webster Technique (a technique that is beneficial for pregnant women and their growing babies). In early 2025, Lindsay also obtained her Veterinary Chiropractic certification through the Canadian program (the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre).
Dr. McMullen believes a thorough and knowledgeable assessment is the first step to effectively and efficiently treating patients. By utilizing soft tissue treatments, joint mobilization, and rehabilitative concepts, she works with her patients to keep them doing what they love. It is this philosophy that drives her to continue her education and to deliver the most effective care possible.
In 2021, Lindsay and her husband James fell in love with Almonte and relocated to the “Friendly Town” (with two dogs and horse in tow)! Since moving here, they welcomed their two sons, Harvey and Tait, to the world. Naturally, it made sense to relocate her thriving practice here too! She looks forward to helping others as active member in this amazing community. And please call me Lindsay :)
Meet Dr. Haley Langstaff
Haley is a recent graduate with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly NYCC). Previously she studied at Carleton University, graduating with BScH in Neuroscience. Originally from Almonte, she is very excited to return home to join the team at Valley Spine and Sports Rehab to help people from her community and beyond. Haley is passionate about developing individualized treatment plans, so people are able to return to doing what they love in a more comfortable fashion. When she isn’t at the clinic, you’ll be sure to find Haley out riding her horse or hiking with her dogs.

Meet Dr. Chandler Kutney
My approach is a combination of hands-on work, education, and exercise to help you feel better and get back to the things you enjoy, and keep you that way. I enjoy working with patients of all ages and levels of fitness. Seeing people feel relief at the end of an appointment is my favourite part of what I do, aside from cracking dumb jokes. Outside of work I love playing volleyball and soccer, biking, reading, playing Nintendo Switch, and cuddling with my kitties :)
I graduated from the University of Ottawa with my Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Human Kinetics in 2016. After that, I continued my education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where I graduated in 2020 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. CMCC places emphasis on patient-centred, evidence-based care.
I have experience helping people with chronic pain, osteoarthritis, low back pain, neck pain, sports injuries (sprains, strains, etc.), extremity issues (hands, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and feet), headaches, and jaw pain (TMJ). I’m continuously pursuing further education to meet the diverse needs of my patients.
Why Valley Spine + Sports?
It can be broken down by the aspects that I feel exemplify what remains most important to the business and the service it provides. Almonte is a growing community and while there has been growth in this town, I do like that "small town" Valley feel. "Spine" pays homage to the fact that by professional designation, I am a chiropractor. The profession grew out of the idea that the entire human body's physiological processes are governed by the spine. I feel some nostalgia for including this aspect in the title.
Finally, the concept of sports rehab is truly why I was driven to pursue this occupation. On a daily basis, I am motivated and inspired by my patients to get out there and move their bodies. There is nothing more joyful (to me) than facilitating someone regaining their ability to "do the things they aspire to do"- be it running their first 5km, representing Canada at the next Olympic Games or chasing their grandkids in the backyard.
