Providing a modernized injury recovery and rehabilitation approach
I totally get it…you’ve tried medication, even manual therapy such as chiropractic and physiotherapy before and nothing has worked. You still are dealing with chronic, nagging pain that isn’t going away.
That’s where I come in and help get down to the nitty-gritty of what is causing your condition (rather than just slapping a Band-aid on your symptoms). From there, we strategize what our best options are and launch a plan. Together, we’ll find a way to manage or even eliminate your pain and get you back to doing what you love.

Pre- & Post- Natal Treatment, including Webster Technique
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated.
Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby malpresentation. Correction of sacral subluxation may have a positive effect on all of these causes of dystocia.

Frequently Asked
-
With chiropractic care, you do not need a referral from your medical doctor. With our schooling, we have the ability to not only treat, but diagnose your condition as well.
-
Following the initial appointment, it is determined what a treatment plan will look like. Often with a chronic complaint (such as tennis elbow), a patient will typically get treated 1-2x per week for a few weeks and prescribed some rehabilitative exercises (ie. homework) to facilitate the healing. As part of every appointment, you will be re-assessed to determine how you are progressing.
Patients also seek out “maintenance” treatment periodically and this will also be accommodated.

In short, no! Imaging often does not change the diagnosis of the condition or the outcome. However, certain Imaging can be requisitioned right away (such as if a fracture is suspected, as an example).

Unfortunately, chiropractic care is not covered specifically by OHIP. However, those who have extended health coverage (if you have dental, physio, RMT coverage), will have coverage for chiropractic care. In fact, many individuals do not realize that they pay into these benefits annually. We do not bill “extra” for acupuncture, taping or shockwave. Please consult your insurance company for your coverage amount.

As a manual therapist, I value all my conservative care counterparts and personally seek treatment from all of them. I think that the treatment delivered is paramount over the professional designation. It is important to “shop around” for a health care provider that is knowledgeable (and has the skill set to help) regarding YOUR condition.

When booking your appointment, we hold this spot specifically for you! With this in mind, we have a strict 24hr business policy to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Hey….we get it! Life happens sometimes but providing us with a little heads-up allows us to contact others on the waitlist.
In the event that you do cancel within that 24-hour window, we charge a $40 fee that is donated to a local charity of our choice. We do not like billing for services that are not rendered but this is (what we feel) an appropriate fine.
